The Human Imprint considers the baffling and often dark stain mankind has left on this earth— what is the mark we’ve made here? Beyond that, how have we established control over this world and why do we have such a desire to control? Are we really the best leaders? We’ve defined and altered our natural habitats, our beauty standards, our “financial worth” and “status', and beyond. We’ve introduced the potential for capitalist measures of productivity and profitable value, rising levels of global warming, patriarchy, surveillance and loss of anonymity, the nip and tuck, the list goes on. Each shoot explores the legacy mankind is leaving behind.
